House Rules

General Requirements

All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay.

Transportation

We do not offer transportation and cannot provide assistance if Guests get lost.

Guests must ensure that they download and review their transportation ahead of the trip to avoid getting lost or stuck.

Parking

Guests with small cars should follow the Property Manager’s directions when entering the premises to avoid getting stuck.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages, and cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (i.e. in the ashtray provided) and not thrown on property grounds.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at Mandowa.

Functions

Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at Mandowa; and any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.

Visitors

Any additional Visitors must be approved by the Reservation Manager in advance during the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the price.

Noise and The Neighborhood

Guests must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other Guests and neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (9 PM – 8 AM) and upon arrival and departure.

Swimming Pool

For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use glassware in or around the pool area.

Damages and Breakages

All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable.

To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.

Bathroom towels are available in the property. No bathroom towels are to be removed from the property (i.e. for beach use), and Guests must bring their own beach towels.

Security

The premise gates will be closed and locked at night. Guests must contact the Property or Reservations Manager if they plan to leave at night or early in the morning.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all doors, windows, and window screens are closed and locked when leaving Mandowa to prevent rain damage, maintain security, and keep out mosquitos or monkeys.

Guests must switch off lights, fans, and electronics such as televisions when not in use.

Check-out

The regular checkout time is 11 AM. Guests must leave the House keys with the Property Manager and exit the premises, including the House and common areas (pool, tennis court, garden), by 11 AM.

Guests leaving before 11 AM should inform the Property Manager the night before for key collection.

If Guests anticipate staying later than 11 AM, they must pay a late checkout fee pending availability. Guests must request a late check-out as soon as possible so we can check for availability.
